My name is Vito Priolo, and I am the founder and CEO of VetConsultation.online. With this article, I want to share with you the story and vision behind our work.
VetConsultation.online is not just a support service; it is much more. It is a meticulously crafted project, with the vision of being a cornerstone for every veterinary clinic, a beacon of hope in the sea of daily challenges. Our mission is to provide tailored solutions that streamline clinic management and enhance the customer experience in the veterinary sector.
Working directly with various veterinary clinics in the United Kingdom, I have had the opportunity to firsthand experience the daily challenges that many of them have had to face and unfortunately still confront.
Since the onset of Brexit, we have all begun to breathe an atmosphere of uncertainty, and many clinics already grappling with a shortage of qualified personnel have had to face even tougher challenges: sourcing new staff has become even more difficult.
With the sudden onset of Covid-19, we were further put to the test. Restrictions and social distancing measures made access to veterinary services incredibly challenging, and many facilities began to experience a dramatic decline in acquiring new clients.
The combination of these two events has severely strained the sector. I am a witness to the crisis we are facing, and I am truly dismayed to see that access to qualified veterinary services for pet owners is becoming increasingly difficult. More and more clinics are restricting access to new clients.
If you want to know more about it, we wrote an article discussing the crisis in the veterinary sector in the UK (click here).
But my approach to problem-solving has enabled me to address this situation and seek a solution.
As we struggled to survive in this climate of uncertainty, I began to seriously contemplate potential solutions. Working remotely during the lockdown, I realised that a significant portion of daily activities could, and should, be effectively managed from a distance.
And thus, the idea for VetConsultation.online was born. I understood that what we needed was an innovative approach. By delegating some of the daily tasks remotely, clinics could lighten their workload and substantially reduce operational costs. It was a solution that not only addressed the immediate needs of the clinics but also contributed to improving overall efficiency and service quality.

But how did I get to this point, you may wonder? Well, from a young age, I've had a deep passion for animal welfare, and I've dedicated my career to doing everything possible to ensure their health and happiness.
As the CEO of VetConsultation.online, I strive to lead our mission with commitment and dedication each day, offering support and effective solutions for the daily challenges faced by veterinary clinics. My ultimate goal is always to ensure the well-being of animals and the satisfaction of our clients because I firmly believe that every animal deserves the best possible treatment.
My passion for animals also reflects in my dedication to veterinary research. My publications have been recognised internationally and have contributed to the advancement of knowledge in the field. I am proud to have made a significant impact on veterinary practice through my research.

The demand for veterinary services is poised to continue growing rapidly. The number of people opting to adopt animals rather than have children is skyrocketing; read the article.
Now is the time to act! You can't keep tackling the problem using the same old solutions. Technology gives us the opportunity to improve, and we must learn to harness it to the fullest. Organisms that don't evolve are destined for extinction.
If you're a clinic that recognises the potential of this solution, I urge you to get in touch with us. Together, we will build a new future for the veterinary sector in the United Kingdom, and you will be equipped to manage all the challenges that lie ahead effectively.
